Client - Grok Academy
Project - Rebranding and Educational Course Content
Role - Storyboards | Graphic Design | Illustration | Animation | Editing

While at Grok Academy, I worked on a wide range of graphic and animation projects. Most of my time was spent working with teachers to design and animate course videos for primary school and college educational courses, providing educators material to help teach students programming and technology.

I also helped develop the brand design that was being done at the time, assisting with character updates and style exploration, as well as some logo design for the Digital Champions Community.
The homepage animations I created above (Illustrated by Joe Collier) were part of the Grok Academy brand refresh, displaying clear examples of the platform and tools available while not being too distracting.

Below is an example of one of the quick, turnaround animations I produced that explained the technology used by one of Grok Academies investors. For this project I was given a single illustration that provided the style required, which then had to be turned into a 30 second explainer animation.
With Grok Academy's brand refresh, we had also planned to update the illustration style used throughout the website and teaching platform; below are a few examples of the style directions I was exploring.
Below are a few of the designs I created for Grok Academy's Digital Champions Community program. Working with a number of lead teachers to come up with a design that would work across clothing, pins/badges and digital spaces. Incorporating a network, the southern cross and friendly tech themes.
